Our story
The New Zealand National Fieldays Society has played a leading role in the development of agriculture and New Zealand's economy since its inception in 1968. More than fifty years on, much has shifted, but the Society still holds to its roots in tradition and giving back.

Yes. The Society is a registered charity. Any surplus is reinvested into Fieldays and the long-term development of Mystery Creek Events Centre.
The Society founded Fieldays and runs it each year. It leads planning, site sales, operations, partnerships, and the visitor experience.
The Society is led by an elected Board, with support from a leadership team, staff and volunteers.
Fieldays and the Society were created to advance agriculture and the primary industries by facilitating the showcase of innovation, promoting education and encouraging global opportunities at the Fieldays event.
