Become a political advisor!
Four candidates each have a different plan to protect New Zealand's animals and biodiversity.
Your team will help one candidate prepare for a debate by developing strong arguments, answering tough questions, and trying to convince the voters that your candidate has the best plan.
Your mission is to:
- Help your candidate prepare for the election debate.
- Work with your team to build arguments and respond to other candidates' ideas.
- Think about the environmental, economic, and social trade-offs before casting your vote.
The Final Challenge
Throughout the day, you'll earn wooden tokens by working together, solving problems, and completing challenges. By the end of the workshop, you'll create your own wooden keepsake - a reminder that protecting biodiversity depends on balancing our environment, economy, and society.
